Trip 2 to Kruger november 2009
We saw a honey badger near the S40 south of Satara camp. To us the first time we saw this animal in the wild...
Earlier this year we saw one IN Satara camp but this was more special with daylight 07:45 in the morning.
This Honey Badger did not like to be photographed, moving..running...all the time.
Elephants near the Vutomi dam (S33), just north of Tshokwane.
Wonderful and funny to see them playing in the mud... a curious hippo came close but decided to go back into the water ... I think a good decision...
Pictures of day 5, 9-11-09
Early in the morning just after leaving Satara camp this bull crossed the road .... good morning....
A little later driving from Satara to Olifant we saw this Rhino family
Yesterday we had the sighting with the lions and the giraffe kill... Leftovers for the vultures and hyena's...although one of the lions did not want to give up....
Although most pictures about Kruger are about sightings with animals as subject it is really worthfull to show the beauty of the landscape

Up: View on the Olifants river from a viewpoint near Olifant restcamp

Under: View from Letaba restcamp on the Letaba riverbed. Take your time and you can see many different animals in the riverbed...this time a group of 8 giraffe.
