Trip 2 to Kruger november 2009
Mopani.... Very good area to see lots of elephant and buffalo...

Left: a nice portrait of a bull

Right: Named Tusker MANDHEVHU
At this same "Caprcorn loop" we saw this Jackal just near the road.
One of the predators among the birds

Late afternoon, far away but just being able to photograph this well known Tusker TSOTSI....

Right:
A nice portrait of one of the thousands of buffalo we have seen.
Couple (in love) of Kori Bustard.

He (left) posed himself to impress the lady (right)
Last sighting for today november 11th was with a lion pride, 9 lions in total.
When we arrived they were just awake after a day laying down in the shadow and ready for a hunt.

Moving slowly to the bush and higher grasses.... and suddenly we saw a cub, the only one.
Location: near the low water bridge just north of Letaba bridge towards Mopani.
Distance was more then 100 meters, so quality of the pictures is not very good but with full 400mm out of hand it is ok to show and share.

Very nice surprise to see this pride at the end of another wonderful day in Kruger.....
